Mystery may be a cool and interesting thing in a well-made movie, but when it comes to something that we do or want to start doing all the mystery needs to be taken out. The reason for that is very simple. We human beings have a solid need for understanding the reasons behind the things we do.

Long time ago, as in centuries ago, Taiji and Qigong used to be for the selected few and privileged in ancient China, where both of them come from. Nowadays as in just a few recent years Taiji and Qigong are common practices all over the world. Both of them have become well-known and popular because of their multiple benefits toward our everyday life. There is a lot of simplicity in each of them, and nevertheless a great instructor is key to their successful practice.

Taiji and Qigong involve graceful moments (stances). Those stances can come across as if they are quite choreographed to beginners. With enough practice and knowledge our different types of energies (at the very intrinsic level of our human condition) start to develop, strengthen, and rejuvenate to the point that we feel within us that Taiji and Qigong are part of our healthy lifestyle instead of rehearsed movements that we learn from these ancient practices.

Both (Taiji & Qigong) have everything to do with energy. There are different kinds of energies as in one links to the other for all those energies to operate properly, fluidly, and harmoniously. For example, when our energies like vital energy, Qi, Jin, plus yin and yang are free from obstructions, the result of their proper function is vitality. Where there is vitality, there is great health and a happy state of mind -- simply put.
